This website was created in our Web 1 class. We were given a list of a few local businesses within Hattiesburg, MS, and were tasked with choosing one to re-design their website. As someone who has grown up outdoors hunting and fishing with my dad, I resonated with the values and brand of Sacks Outdoors and was excited to give it a facelift that would help make the site more user-friendly and would fit in more with the aesthetics of their two brick-and-mortar locations.
Sacks Outdoors is a small business with strong family values and an even stronger sense of adventure that has been serving the Hattiesburg community since 1951. My goal was to capture an outdoorsy feel, while also keeping the website clean, organized, and structured.
